Presented by Youth on Record, Y.O.R. Sessions brings together emerging, national, global, and local musicians to record in Youth on Record's (YOR) state-of-the-art recording studio, and/or to perform on the courtyard in our mixed-income, ethnically diverse, newly redeveloped La Alma/Lincoln Park Denver neighborhood. These once-in-a-lifetime musical experiences will not only bring relevant and compelling artists to the community, but give YOR students the opportunity to learn all aspects of the recording arts. Annual recordings are released on a compilation album, with proceeds from the sales benefiting Youth on Record’s music programs for underserved teens.
Y.O.R. Sessions Vol. 1, 2, and 3 are available on all the major platforms. Many sessions will be aired live on the iHeart Media radio station, KTCL Channel 93.3, as well as local radio stations such as KGNU and Colorado Sound, providing national and local exposure for the project!
