Qi / Qillua

BLVCK Qi/Qillua is a Denver-based artist hailing from Baton Rouge, LA. His stage name derives from the Eastern Asian concept of Qi (also spelled chi, ki, or gi) and is a double entendre for black keys on a piano. He's an all-around artist encapsulated by lyricism, beat making, graphic design, media production, and mentorship. After releasing his third album and graduating from MSU Denver in May, Qi has performed at over 6 concerts; two of which being the YOR 10th Annual Block Party and Underground Music Showcase. As an independent artist, he's brought nine other artists together to form the BLVCK Kosher Art Collective, established in 2016. The collective aims to support independent artists by providing: marketing, promotion, media/design needs, and Uniquely Kosher performance opportunities.
