At Youth on Record, the month of March is an invitation for the community to come together and collectively agree that “music matters."
Every year, community-oriented businesses come together during the entire month of March to raise funds and spread awareness about Youth on Record's work with young creatives.
Some partners run special promotions throughout the month, others donate a portion of ticket sales, and some donate special items or packages to our silent auction - it's a great chance for businesses to get creative about how they want to give back!
So when Coloradans visit the venues, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops they already love or bid on items in the silent auction, they're making a real difference for Denver youth (learn more about that impact here!).
This is a choose-your-own-adventure style fundraiser! Here are some examples of ways that participating businesses often activate during the month of March:
- Donate a % or $ amount of sales from a product, service, or item for the month
- Donate a % or $ amount of sales from a single day
- Run a discount code or special sale
- Add an optional donation to checkout online or in person
- Donate a special item or package to the silent auction
