The Hg Collective was founded in the Spring of 2020, based on the principle that  each member is treated and rewarded equally. It is comprised of musicians, engineers,  and industry professionals and at this point it is a remote recording and collaboration project only. Once COVID is no longer a threat, the Collective will be looking to book live shows. 

For now, The Hg intends to release singles monthly spanning many genres.  Written by Matthew Mitchell and Gideon Berkowitz, Rikki Tikkiness is The Hg  Collective’s first original single. Matthew’s lyrics speak to overcoming obstacles and  learning how to live through adverse experiences of growing up black in Denver. The  music touches on traditional Hip Hop, Soul, Funk, and Jazz. 

As of proud Music Ambassador to Youth on Record (YOR), The Hg Collective is pre-releasing Rikki  Tikkiness to YOR to help raise funds for their incredibly important youth music  education programs.
