The 3rd Annual YOR Block Party
ABOUT THE BLOCK PARTY: Youth on Record's Memorial Day Block Party and Community Celebration will bring together 500+ community members for a day-long outdoor mini-festival. The event is free to the community and will include block party activities such as:
- Live music from Youth on Record students and local musicians 12-5pm
- Health and Wellness Expo by Denver Housing Authority and Mariposa - 10am - 4pm
- Celebrating the Grand Opening of the Food Bridge International Marketplace. a program of Emily Griffith Technical College (10th and Navajo)
- Unveil of the iMac Computer lab - Sponsored by Big Gigantic
- Special performance by Athena Project
- T-shirt printing with Indy Ink sponsored by the Denver Housing Authority Buy a YOR Shirt or bring your own!
- Food and drinks for the entire family provided by Repicci’s Italian Ice & Gelato and more TBA, who will donate 10% percent of their sales back to Youth on Record
- Kids Craft area sponsored by Meow Wolf and activated by ReCreative Denver
- Activities including sidewalk art, hula hooping, and more
- Neighborhood tours of Denver Housing Authority’s award-winning Mariposa District
- Album listening stations

- Food Bridge International Marketplace is a place where immigrants will have an opportunity to share their culture and their passion with people through food. FBIM will do this by:
- Providing a space where people can sell their food at a table in an indoor marketplace
- Give ongoing mentoring and guidance to participants so they can learn by trial and error
- Do marketing so that vendors don’t have to worry about having customers to buy their food
- Food Bridge International Marketplace is a place where immigrants will have an opportunity to share their culture and their passion with people through food. FBIM will do this by:

This year, we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Denver Housing Authority and the Mariposa neighborhood on their Health and Wellness Expo, this will be activated on 10th between Mariposa and Navajo.
Emily Griffith Technical college will also be celebrating their Grand Opening of The Food Bridge International Marketplace. This will be in the building across the street from Youth on Record at 10th and Navajo.
