Are you a DHA resident looking to pick up a dinner bag? Stop by the Youth on Record Open Mic (1301 W. 10th Ave) on Friday December 5th from 5-8pm!

In response to the potential halt of SNAP benefits due to the federal government shutdown, and the rising costs of feeding families, Youth on Record is launching The Dinner Table Project, a temporary food campaign that will work to galvanize support from the music community to ensure that local kids, youth, and families have dinner on the table each week through December 2025.

The effort will assemble and distribute 500 dinner bags to Youth on Record participants and their families, each filled with nourishing staples like pasta, sauce, parmesan cheese, bread, canned vegetables, mashed potatoes, and dessert mixes. Bags will be distributed to YOR participants during regularly scheduled programming. YOR is taking this project on, in part, to alleviate the volume of requests to already burdened food pantries throughout the metro area.
