We want to support YOR because we know the incredible powers of music and believe that it is the most healing force on Earth. We are excited to inspire others to tap into this power for themselves and express themselves through music.

About the Band 

A Colorado duo comprised of Kathleen Hooper & Aubrey Mable. Our sound is inspired by our ideal recipe of singer-songwriter folk, dance, pop, and electronic synth, with powerful melodies and harmonies that speak to the senses.

We met in 2012 studying abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand. It took us approximately 5 seconds to realize we were going to be the best of friends. We started playing together in our cold NZ flats, on front porch couches of Kathleen's college houses, and in the kitchens and living rooms of friends and family.

Over the years we talked about our dreams of traveling the world and pursuing music. It always seemed like a distant possibility. What started as late night kitchen jam sessions, open mics, and groovy covers turned into original tunes that sparked a musical connection we couldn’t deny. When timing and connection aligned 6 years later, LVDY was born.
