Regi Worles

Regi (he/they) is a Black, Queer artist envisioning worlds of prosperity, radical belonging, and love manifested through imagination, political action, and social storytelling. As a Social Media Contractor as Youth on Record, he uses creative savvy, understanding of social trends, and relationship building inside and outside of the organization to promote and bring community into the work at Youth on Record.

In addition, they also dedicate themselves to the art of storytelling through voice by creating songs, spaces, and other media with their band, DOGTAGS. DOGTAGS uses playful and artful interpretations of soul, R&B, and pop to invite listeners and audience members into a soundscape of love and acceptance. In that same vein, Regi loves to use his imagination to draw upon traditions of zine-making, space-building, and experiences for himself and other Beloveds to swaddle themselves in joy, freedom, and connection. He hopes to build spaces where he and other Black, queer folks can dream, live, and thrive. They hope that this living their life in dedication and reverence to social justice, art, and storytelling can build the solidarity and love that can bond communities together in ways that are liberating and, thus far, unimaginable.
