Lance is a passionate advocate for educational equity and social justice, with over a decade of experience supporting historically marginalized communities. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in International Studies from the University of Denver in 2012 as a recipient of the prestigious Daniels Fund Scholarship. In 2023, he completed his Master’s degree in Higher Education from the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver, where he focused on Diversity and Inclusion.
Rooted in the Navajo philosophy of Hózhó, which emphasizes balance, harmony, and interconnectedness, Lance approaches his work with a deep respect for the unique strengths and identities of the communities he serves. His professional journey has centered on creating and leading college access and success programs that empower underrepresented youth to achieve their academic and personal goals. By integrating the principles of Hózhó, Lance builds equitable educational pathways, fosters inclusive environments, and supports young people to become leaders and positive changemakers in their communities.
