Max Moore is a rising pianist from Conyers, Georgia, now based in Denver. A professional musician since the age of 14, he studied at Denver School of the Arts and the Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts, working with local jazz greats like Eric Gunnison, Shane Endsley, and Paul Romaine. He further honed his craft at The New School in New York City, studying under jazz legends Dave Schnitter and Hal Galper.
Max performs regularly at renowned Denver venues such as Dazzle, Nocturne, and Mercury Cafe, and has appeared at the Vail Jazz Festival and the Five Points Jazz Festival. He was also recognized by Wynton Marsalis with a soloist award at the Essentially Ellington competition. In addition to his busy performance schedule, Max leads residencies at Mercury Cafe and Seven Grand, teaches private lessons, and tours nationally with Ghanaian Afro-Fusion drummer Paa Kow and the Denver collective Daruma.
