Conrad Mata

Conrad Mata is a producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist. His independently produced sophomore album, Still, received wide acclaim for its versatility in genre, originality in style, and memorable earworm melodies.

An avid runner, Conrad Mata makes music that motivates that kind of movement. Like the artists he most respects, Conrad layers in subliminal lessons and cautionary tales to the listener about his learned experiences. He considers each song a PSA with a pulse. 

In 2020, Conrad earned his Associate of Occupational Studies degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. As an actor, he has starred on stages across Los Angeles, Chicago, and Denver.

As a musician, Conrad Mata has performed at venues including Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, Globe Hall, Hard Rock Cafe, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, and Lion’s Lair. In 2023, Conrad Mata made his debut at the Underground Music Showcase. His music can be heard playing across radio stations including 102.3 and 105.5.

More than any label for his artistic expression, Conrad most identifies as a bard. As early as 7 years old, Conrad Mata could be found spending the majority of his time writing stories under  the hackberry tree in his front yard. Conrad Mata values bold art that takes risks; he loves to say, “that shouldn’t work,... but it does.”
