Open Mic is a free community event that provides performance opportunities for emerging artists.
If you're wanting to explore live performance, this event is a perfect opportunity for both first timers and experienced performers, alike! The environment is friendly, encouraging, and non-judgmental.

Featured Artist: Hakeem Furious - Hakeem Furious, a Jacksonville-born wordsmith rooted in the Rockies, honed his craft in theater and spoken word at Florida A&M University. An HBCU alum, he champions Black culture and resilience. As CEO of #UltraTerrestrialTour, he tours nationally, performing, curating shows, and writing curriculum and grants.
