Monthly Open House - Youth on Record

We're excited to invite you to our monthly Open House every third Thursday! Our Open House welcomes young creatives, family members, and community organizations to a free community event where you can explore our Youth Media Studio. 

Come connect with our staff, learn about our programs, and engage in the lively atmosphere of our creative space. The Open House will include a special music-based workshop that everyone is encouraged to join and participate in. It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of a creative experience and connect with the essence of our Youth Media Studio.

Welcome in: 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm
YMS Activation (Tour / Explore): 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Special Workshop: 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wrap up: 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Join us for an all-skills workshop designed to develop vocal skills and establish or deepen the connection between participants' bodies, minds, and voices

ABOUT KAYLA MARQUE: Marque’s musical journey began in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by a diverse array of musical influences including a musical family pedigree that stretches back to legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire. She released her debut solo album, "Live and Die Like This" in 2016, followed by "Brain Chemistry (Left Brain/Right Brain)" in 2020. Her long-term mission is to utilize the platform of music as a way to impact positive change in her community and internationally. Marque has found the opportunity to activate this work in a variety of roles that extend from her role as a musician. She is a founding member of the Creative Bodies of Culture Advisory Board at the Levitt Pavilion Denver, as well as the 2022 Program Manager at Diversify the Stage.
