Monthly Open House

We're excited to invite you to our monthly Open House every third Thursday! Our Open House welcomes young creatives, family members, and community organizations to a free community event where you can explore our Youth Media Studio. 

Come connect with our staff, learn about our programs, and engage in the lively atmosphere of our creative space. The Open House will include a special music-based workshop that everyone is encouraged to join and participate in. It's a wonderful opportunity to be part of a creative experience and connect with the essence of our Youth Media Studio.

Welcome in: 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm
YMS Activation (Tour / Explore): 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Special Workshop: 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wrap up: 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm

3/21 - How to throw a HYPE Party Workshop led by DJ A-L
DJ A-L provides a step-by-step process that will teach anyone how to throw a successful event. The workshop will offer empowerment by sharing his experience and knowledge of event coordination.

ABOUT DJ A-L

Aaron "DJ A-L" Ladley is a world renowned, multi-genre DJ and Producer with over two decades of experience on the turntables and in the studio.
A-L has shared the stage with musical legends, produced for multiple iconic artists as well as dropped knowledge on the youth as a hip hop educator. DJ A-L is not only widely recommended throughout the industry but highly respected amongst his peers within the culture.
He currently curates and performs a residency at Ophelia’s in Denver, HYPE Dance Party, A-L’s throwback monthly event that gets treated with the detail and presentation of an art installation.
