The YOR Fellowship is your chance to develop as an artist, a creative, a professional, and a change-maker. This 11‑month paid program is built for young musicians (ages 18–24) who are ready to invest in their creativity, build real‑world professional skills, and join a powerful community of peers and mentors.
The Youth on Record Fellowship is not just a program, it is a creative community and a launchpad for your artistic and professional development. As a Fellow, you'll participate in bi-monthly seminars and lectures, receive 1:1 coaching and mentorship, hear from guest artists, support with YOR event production, and complete apprenticeship hours to learn the ins and outs of the creative industry.

The Podcast Production Internship serves a small cohort of youth (ages 18-24), focusing on developing and deepening skills in audio production, storytelling, creative writing, interviewing, and project management through a critical lens. Interns will receive technical training, professional development, and the chance to produce original audio pieces featured on the award-winning podcast, Youth on Rewind.*
The internship includes 6 hours per week of in-studio work at Youth on Record and 2-4 hours per week of asynchronous work. Interns will be expected to meet regular deadlines for their projects and participate in workshops and seminars at our Youth Media Studio (and virtually as needed). Upon completing this internship, interns will have a portfolio of original audio recordings and the skills to produce original pieces.
